WiFi 6 and WiFi 7 Upgrades

Phased upgrade paths that get the biggest gains without replacing everything at once.

WiFi 7 and WiFi 6 upgrades are most valuable in high-density and latency-sensitive environments. Cambium Solutions helps you identify the areas where an upgrade actually moves the needle, then phases the work to protect budget and uptime.

When you need wifi 6 and wifi 7 upgrades

  • Your current APs are WiFi 5 or older
  • New client devices are outpacing what the network can deliver
  • Latency-sensitive applications (AR/VR, real-time collaboration) are on the roadmap
  • You want a defensible upgrade plan rather than a rip-and-replace

WiFi 6 and WiFi 7 Upgrades FAQ

Is a WiFi 7 upgrade worth it?
In dense, latency-sensitive spaces it is. Elsewhere a targeted WiFi 6 or 6E refresh of the worst zones usually delivers most of the benefit for far less budget.
Will our switches and cabling support new access points?
Not always. Newer access points can require higher PoE budgets and multi-gigabit uplinks, so the wired side is reviewed as part of the network upgrade plan.
Can the upgrade be phased?
Yes. We prioritize the highest-impact areas first and run mixed-generation networks safely during the transition.
